We are looking to appoint an experienced professional with superior leadership, time management and customer relations skills who demonstrates a strong business acumen to help drive our business to the next phase.

The Opportunity

This full-time position is based at Salisbury Plain and will report to the Operations Manager. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Explore business opportunities within the existing client base and identifying new customers for transition into the business;
  • Cold calling within the market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities;
  • Build relationships with existing customers and leveraging opportunities;
  • Raise the profile of the business;
  • Work with the operations department to meet customer requirements;
  • Attend industry functions such as association events and conferences;
  • Report, consult and present business and market trends with a view to develop new services;
  • Take ownership of budget requirements;
  • Prepare customer quotations and proposals;
  • Provide detailed handover of all new customers to the Operations Department;and
  • Back fill the Operations Department when required.

Criteria

  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years experience in Business Development, Account Management and/or Sales in a similar field;
  • Operational experience;
  • Competent in contract management;   
  • MR Truck licence or willing to obtain;
  • Strong time management and organisational skills;
  • Ability to travel Intrastate;
  • Confident in passing a pre-employment medical assessment including drug and alcohol test.
