DSE Trucks has been operating for over 20 years and offers local, regional and interstate transport services in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth with our head office based in Sydney. We provide dedicated trucks to work for one client at a time. Additionally we offer various warehousing and logistical services to a boutique clientele in smaller warehouses along Australia,

We are looking for a motivated sales representative to help grow and develop our brand.

The duties will include:

  • Building professional relationships with customers and drivers and existing customers and drivers.
  • Old school door knocking and asking for work (1.5 hours per day 4 days per week)
  • Cold calling / Tele canvassing (1.5 hours per day 4 days per week)
  • Ability to operate autonomously
  • Ability to create a participate in a teamwork environment
  • New business appointments and presentations
  • Experience in closing new business opportunities
  • Bedding down new work
  • Assist and participate in subcontractor driver recruiting
  • Ensuring customer retention through relationships  
  • Your initiative coupled with a strong sense of competitive drive and the ability to stay focused on results despite changing conditions, are keys to achieving the performance objectives in this role.
  • Supporting the other departments in the business as required.

  • You must have proven 'on the road cold calling' sales experience
  • Background in transport & logistics is preferred but not essential
  • Well mannered customer service skills – result driven
  • Proven experience in problem solving and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication skills/ strong self-motivation
  • Oral and written proficiency in the English language
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as autonomously
  • Result driven
  • Operate with honesty and integrity
