Display & Design International Pty Ltd (displayanddesign.com.au) is a key supplier of innovative retail products, print and technology. DDI has first to market proprietary products and innovations for retail, FMCG and corporate markets. 

With four new products coming to market in the very near future, DDI has created a new role, which will see you spending around 60% of your time Account Managing and 40% of your time focusing on New Business Development, aligning the ‘new to market’ products to prospects.


Job Description

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the growth of a portfolio of blue chip clients while proactively identifying, qualifying and pursuing new business opportunities across a number of retail channels including FMCG, QSR, Discount Department stores and Fashion. 

 

With a demonstrated background in sales/business development we are looking for someone passionate about providing the best possible solutions to their client group and a natural ability to proactively pursue new opportunities within the market. You will need exceptional networking skills and the ability to influence will effectively position you in securing long term client relationships and capture new growth opportunities.


This role is ideal for candidates with Account Management/Business Development experience who are ready to take the next step in their career or have existing shelf management / POS experience. Time management and attention to detail will be key to securing this position.


Responsibilities

  • Generate sales through expert product knowledge after training      
  • Maintain strong external and internal stakeholder management
  • Develop solutions and pricing strategies
  • End to end transaction management

The Successful Applicant

  • Retail Display / Fixtures knowledge and experience required  
  • 5 years' experience working with FMCG/Retail clients
  • Outstanding networking and relationship building skills
  • Solution orientated
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills incl. written
  • Experience in Print & Shelf Management

Critical to your success will be your proven ability to develop new business, experience and track record in managing contractual relationships and diverse client groups.
