An excellent opportunity now exists for a Trade Sales person to join our North Melbourne team.

We are seeking an experienced sales person who has customer service and trade sales experience. Your main focus will be to engage with customers via telephone, email or in person at our sales counter. In addition you will also perform a range of varied tasks required in obtaining and processing orders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing hardware product and technical information to customers
• Processing sales and purchase orders
• Providing sales quotations and following up with customers
• Ensuring customers receive excellent service

To be successful in the role you will need to:

• Have proven experience in a customer service and sales role
• Have strong verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Have used a computer daily with experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and sales processing program use
• Be very customer focused, a quick learner and with a can-do attitude
• Have a high level of accuracy, organised work style and attention to detail
• Have building hardware or architectural hardware experience if possible whether it be selling, specifying, using or fitting would be a distinct advantage.
