Machinemonitor Pty Ltd is a highly respected electrical engineering consultancy firm that provides specialist support in the life cycle management of HV electrical assets

Our head office is located in Newcastle NSW Australia, with offices in Hamilton NZ,  Darwin NT,  Brisbane QLD and Perth WA.  Machinemonitor has undertaken consulting projects widely across New Zealand & Australia and has completed numerous projects in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, South Africa and USA.

As a result of ongoing expansion, we are looking for a results orientated sales professional to work from our Brisbane, Perth or Newcastle offices.

Position:  Sales Professional & Business Development Manager
Location: Perth, Brisbane or Newcastle

We are looking for a well organised team player with a positive 'can do' attitude to lead our sales initiatives across all regions.

Job Purpose:

Maintain customer contact cycle and business development to increase market share on the services and products of machinemonitor™ to existing and new clients in Australia and New Zealand.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Increase service & product orders from existing customers
  • Maintain customer data base (Salesforce)
  • Regular customer interface to promote the services & products to existing & new customers
  • Develop, maintain & implement a regular customer call plan
  • Develop new service & product strategies to increase market share & presence
  • Provide regular feedback to the business on market trends
  • Identify stake holders & decision makers for effective selling
  • Liaise with internal execution team to make sure orders are fulfilled correctly in accordance with customer requirements
  • Follow up with customers post project execution
  • Participate in proposal generation to customers

Requirements:

  • Face to face client interaction and ability to build customer relationships
  • Proven sales skills
  • Knowledge and/or experienced with HV and MV electrical assets – Generators, motors, switchgear, cables, transformers and ancillary equipment
  • Excellent computer & communication skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook essential)
  • Experience working within the utilities, industrial or manufacturing sector
  • Salesforce CRM desirable
  • Excellent spoken & written English including spelling & punctuation
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Willingness to work both autonomously & as part of a team
