My client has developed Education and Training programs to satisfy the unique requirements of the Building and Construction industry within the residential and commercial sectors.

ABOUT THE ROLE

 

As the Sales Executive, you will be responsible for closing and identifying sales opportunities and will report to the Marketing and Sales Manager. This position was designed to support the continual growth this company has experienced in the last few years.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, however there may be occasional events that require weekend presentations.  (Must have reliable transport and a valid driver's license.)

DUTIES

  • Closing and identifying sales opportunities by contacting a database of potential individuals to train. You will also have from social media to contact both in person and on the phone
  • Although you will be based in Victoria, your focus territory is North Eastern Suburbs. You may be required to travel across Melbourne from time to time.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Ideally you will have experience with the below:

  • Development of Sales activities which target individuals working in residential but also tradies who aspire to work in commercial projects.

These activities can be Business to Consumer (B2C) walking on site and approaching tradies to upskill; or Business to Business (B2B) Site Supervisors or Companies and selling the need to develop staff.

  • Your success is KPI driven, namely quality enrolments, to achieve these you will have to be well organised, be efficient in your time management, but more importantly you'll quickly establish rapport, believe in customer service and have good communication skills.

This role would be suitable for one of the below profiles:

  • A mature individual who knows the industry and wants a non-physical role in preparation for retirement.
  • Someone possibly returning to work who would like to stay in sales or reengineer their career towards Sales.
  • An entry level Sales Executive who has knowledge and insight into this sector.
