About you:

You will be an experienced and driven Sales Manager with a B2B background, who has a working knowledge of core marketing principles.  You will have a demonstrated ability to understand, manage and implement an integrated Sales and Marketing strategy.   

You have an authentic, genuine and engaging leadership style that supports and nurtures your team to deliver outstanding results.  You understand the importance of, develop and nurture the relationship between Sales and Marketing teams.

You will be naturally organised with exceptional time management skills and have the ability to identify process and customer experience improvements. You will be responsible for leading and coaching a team of 16 across Sales, Customer Service and Marketing.  This role will oversee both the Sales and Marketing teams to implement an integrated strategy for business growth.

Your Background

• At least 5 years of previous Sales Management experience in leading people to achieve exceptional results

• Demonstrated ability to communicate and present at a senior level, as well as be a true relationship builder

• History of meeting or exceeding pre-determined revenue goals

• Proven track record in demonstrating sales growth through implementation of successful sales and marketing strategies

• Experience in managing the entire customer life cycle

• Proven team leader

Responsibilities and Skills:

• Manage, develop and motivate the Sales, Customer Service and Marketing teams

• Bring fresh ideas and an innovative approach - always looking to continually improve the business

• Positive, enthusiastic and results driven persona

• Excellent planning & organisational ability

• Knowledge of data, analytics, digital technology and core marketing principles

• Proactive approach to work tasks

• Highly organised and efficient time management with good attention to detail

• Develop strategies for improving and maximising enquiry and conversion rates across the business

• Impeccable communication skills

• Be able to liaise with multiple stakeholders within and outside the business, as well as manage multiple teams

• Organised & ability to work to a deadline  - be highly organised and deliver tasks and campaigns on time

• Demonstrate initiative & passion

• Have a keen interest in all things digital and be able to recommend new software, techniques and solutions to improve the business and results

• Analytical & Reporting  - The ability to identify trends and make recommendations based on careful analysis in the form of a business case

• Technical Minded - Ability to quickly familiarise oneself with new software and programs

• Presentation Skills - Regularly present to the Machines4u team developments and updates in regards to results and activities.  An ability to deliver concise presentations to groups is essential
