About the company

We provide innovative alternatives to traditional commercial finance, assisting borrowers obtain finance and capital for real estate investment and development projects. We also provide mortgage investment opportunities to existing wholesale clients which include HNWIs, family offices, superannuation funds, charities, religious groups etc

About the role

Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful applicant will be responsible for establishing and maintaining referral relationships with a portfolio of accountants, finance brokers and introducers in addition to developing direct relationships with prospective borrower clients. The role will be to originate loan applications, consistent with our lending criteria and volume targets, on a nationwide basis whist actively developing and fostering key business relationships. The role will also include the establishment and development of relationships with prospective wholesale investor and lending clients who wish to invest into secured mortgage lending opportunities introduced by our group.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • A hunter, self-motivated and a strong drive to succeed.
  • Previous experience working to sales targets with proven success with the commercial finance or financial services industry
  • Resilience and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Regular interstate and some international travel will be required
  • Proven commercial broker/referrer network established with a Bank or Non-Bank Lender would be highly regarded.
  • Pre-Credit Assessment experience an advantage
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills.
  • Be proactive with an open & engaging 'can do' work attitude.
  • Ability to both establish, develop and manage long term commercial relationships.

Whereas our company is based in South East Queensland, this is a national and somewhat autonomous role and applications from candidates located in NSW, VIC and QLD are welcomed. It is envisaged any successful candidate who resides outside QLD will undertake the role from a “home base” location.  In addition to interstate travel required to meet existing and prospective clients, it is envisaged candidates located outside QLD would be required to attend the companies’ offices on an approximate fortnightly basis. Some international travel may also be required.

A generous base salary and uncapped bonus structure is available to the right applicant.
