We are looking for an enthusiastic BDM, with a proven ability to bring in new clients and grow market share, to join WA's leading signage company, Jason Signmakers.

Based in Welshpool, Jason SignMakers is a WA leader in road, traffic, safety and commercial signage. We manufacture road & safety signs and create custom structures for projects across Western Australia in government, emergency services, mining and commercial industries.

You will be growing sales via organic growth within the existing customer base, and prospecting for new opportunities.

Day-to-day BDM responsibilities will include:

  • Building a list of prospective clients through effective networking and targeting (making use of CRM system)
  • Identifying tenders that are a good fit for our capabilities and assist with professional bid submissions
  • Ongoing nurturing of current clients with regular contact
  • Handling any enquires produced by clients including negotiating and recommendations for products
  • Pricing and quoting including standard products using set tools, and custom jobs
  • Investigate issues and provide necessary feedback
  • Working proactively with internal operations team for a smooth handover of jobs and clear instruction to ensure client expectations are met
  • Always delivering better than average service - with high quality interactions, in a timely manner

To be considered for this role you should:

  • have proven experience in sales preferably in the mining and/or B2B
  • have excellent attention to detail and the ability to quickly assess customer needs
  • be proficient in customer relationship management software
  • (a knowledge of different signage materials and manufacturing methods will be highly advantageous)

  • be self-motivated and be able to plan activities by priority and deliver on deadlines
  • enjoy working as a team player but be capable of working autonously and remotely when required
