We are seeking an enthusiastic and commercially minded individual to join our Sales team which will involve managing designated accounts, new business development and supporting the customer service team.  In addition, play a lead role in our new product development, including championing the internal processes and disciplines to enable successful and timely delivery to our customers.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing designated accounts  both locally and interstate and recommending appropriate marketing and sales strategies to achieve budget and grow the business
  • Managing the communications with customers, be the key face to face contact, building relationships with all customer stakeholders (i.e. procurement, quality, operations, finance, marketing) including leading/developing  formal call cycle  reviews and processes for accounts
  • Managing and monitoring the weekly & monthly sales effort to deliver budget, monitoring DIFOT and all quality issues, liaising with internal stakeholders to improve processes and  customer outcomes, elevating any major issues to the appropriate level
  • Support the  development of  our NPD/value-add with new and existing customers to grow both top line and margin
  • Provide active support to the Customer Service Team

You will need to be:

  • Preferably Degree qualified who can demonstrate a  track record of account management (preferably in FMCG space) , achieving budgets and key customer service measures
  • Have project management skill and developing processes to enable the efficient identification and execution of NPD initiatives
  • Have an ability to successfully negotiate with internal and external stakeholders and demonstrate strong influencing and sales abilities
  • Display strong personal attributes, disciplined in time management, analytical/numerate, planning/organisational skills, team oriented, self motivated and ability to travel and operate autonomously
  • Have an effective level of computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Word as well as strong presentation capability.
