As an award winning global business, this organisation has a history spanning over 100 years and is now recognised as a worldwide powerhouse within the Industrial Safety products sector. Priding itself on delivering innovative and customised solutions to it's customers with superior levels of service and backed by a progressive senior management team, they are now experiencing phenomenal growth and are looking to appoint a Regional Sales Manager.
This challenge will see you take full ownership and accountability for the sales team across the region. You will be responsible for managing a team of experienced senior sales professionals directly and the entire sales group indirectly. You will have responsibility for developing the strategic sales plan / vision of the group whilst also taking a hands on approach to sales leadership. You will be required to build and maintain strategic relationships at C Level across a multitude of markets and industries including but not limited to: Food and Bev, OEM, Mining and Industrial and Distributors to mention a few. You will provide strong mentoring and people management capabilities and have the ability to engage and develop your staff.
The ideal candidate for this role will have strong experience in managing regional sales teams, ideally within the industrial or safety products sector. You will have the ability to develop and provide clear strategic direction to your team and the ability to engage and motivate staff. Having a strong commercial drive, you will be experienced in managing budgets in the tens of millions of dollars and the ability to drive change and innovation in order to ensure success.
