An opportunity exists for an experienced & full time INTERNAL SALES to join Australia’s leading supplier and installer of products to the residential building industry. For more than 55 years this organisation has pushed the industry’s boundaries working with customers to provide an innovative, smarter and more integrated solution to creating a beautiful home. Today this includes the supply and installation of steel, fascia, gutter, downpipes, garage doors, energy solutions, lightweight cladding and steel house frames.
 
As Internal Sales, you will be enthusiastic and confident and will join the Sales team in maintaining and supporting the growth of  the business.

Your responsibilities will include:-
  • Residential Account Ownership - build a database of profiles specific to individual builders needs; maintain files weekly
  • Effectively manage the quote and order register for the Sales team by attaching plans or orders in Contract Plus or quote register
  • Develop strong relationships with internal sales reps and external customers - provide first class service and be aware of any problems/concerns and provide solutions where possible
  • Maintain and ensure all job files are up to date - invoicing to be carried out daily; day files are to match the schedule board and Contract Plus.
  • Record and maintain production details and Contract Plus, including job notes; finish dates; install dates and inspection notes.
  • Carry out general duties such as scanning, filing, faxing, invoicing, mail, stationery, banking, petty cash reconciliation etc.
  • Implement & abide by the Groups OH & S and confidentiality at all times.

    To be successful for this role you must be customer service focused with the drive to follow up and proactively deal with potential issues.  In addition, you must have a high attention to detail and be computer / systems savvy.
 
An understanding of the Residential Building market and reading building plans is desirable.
