About the role
Reporting into the State Sales Manager, the primary function of this role will be to manage a portfolio of accounts made up of secondary schools across the Southern region of QLD. You will manage your group of customers offering exceptional customer service & building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the sector.

Reporting into the State Sales Manager, the primary function of this role will be to manage a portfolio of accounts made up of secondary schools across the Southern region of QLD. You will manage your group of customers offering exceptional customer service & building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the sector.
Duties
- Manage circa $1million portfolio made up of 100+ secondary schools
- Proactively build strong relationships with Principals, Head of Departments & Teachers within your territory
- Provide exceptional customer service & market knowledge to assist schools in buying the right publishing products
- Autonomously manage your group of customers
- Ultimately be responsible for a sales budget in your territory
Skills and Experience
- Sales experience, ideally from within the publishing or similar industries
- Experience in selling into the education sector
- Ability to manage your own portfolio of customers without the need for micromanagement
- Natural drive & motivation, with ability to work from home & plan your days/weeks
- Passion for the education sector
