It is a family owned business that has been in operation for over 20 years. Faststud supplies leading material brands to the commercial and residential building markets and has built a strong reputation for quality and service. The operation has well established policies and is committed to WHS compliance. Continued strong growth in the sector necessitates a new full- time role for this position.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Manage field sales and technical staff daily
  • Set and review monthly targets and KPI’s for staff under your control
  • Ensure company sales targets and margins are achieved
  • Produce pricing for clients and staff in accordance with company guidelines
  • Support the introduction and promotion of new products to the marketplace.
  • Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns and oversee website management and web based marketing
  • Further develop social marketing via Facebook and similar platforms.
  • Work closely with the management team to ensure company objectives are achieved.

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • At least 5 years’ experience as a Sales Manager in a related industry
  • A sound understanding of building materials & systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and advanced formulas.
  • A solid understanding of online advertising and marketing platforms.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing sales people
  • Demonstrated track record in meeting performance and sales targets
  • Ability to build excellent face to face relationships with new and existing clients as required
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Preferably tertiary qualified
