The client
As an award winning global business, this organisation has a history spanning over 100 years and is now recognised as a worldwide powerhouse within the Industrial Consumables sector. Priding itself on delivering innovative and customised solutions to their customers with superior levels of service and backed by a progressive senior management team, they are now experiencing phenomenal growth and are looking to appoint a Regional Sales Manager.
The role
This challenge will see you take full ownership and accountability for the sales team across the region. You will be responsible for
- Managing a team of experienced sales professionals directly and the entire sales group indirectly.
- Developing the strategic sales plan / vision of the group whilst also taking a hands on approach to sales leadership.
- Building and maintain strategic relationships at C Level across a multitude of markets and industries including but not limited to: Food and Bev, OEM, Mining and Industrial and Distributors to mention a few.
- Providing strong mentoring and people management capabilities and have the ability to engage and develop your staff.
The ideal candidate for this role will have: - Strong experience in managing regional sales teams, ideally within the industrial sector
- The ability to develop and provide clear strategic direction to your team and the ability to engage and motivate staff
- Strong commercial drive
- Experience in managing budgets in the tens of millions of dollars
- The ability to drive change and innovation in order to ensure success

The salary on offer for this position is $120-130,000, depending on experience + Super + strong bonus structure.
