The Role:


SAI Global is going through an exciting period of change and as such we have a great opportunity for a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to join our Sales team at our Spencer Street office. In this role you will be responsible for driving growth and identifying new opportunities in the legal, conveyancing, professional services and/or commercial sectors.
  
Previous experience working in the legal sector is highly desirable!

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible to develop business within a specific territory within targeted segments and carry out duties including:
  • Sales lead generation and qualification, generating new sales revenue (from new and existing customers)
  • Prospect and identify opportunities in specific industries/market segments and develop relationships to convert into new business
  • Effectively manage sales pipeline through Salesforce
  • Creating and presenting proposals to clients
  • Formulate productive relationships with new clients, key industry groups, consultants and networks for the purpose of developing new business
  • Building collaborative relationships between technical, Customer Success and sales teams
To be successful in this role you will need:
  • Demonstrated experience selling to the legal, conveyancing, professional services (Accounting) and/or Infrastructure, Commercial Building and Real estate industries is highly desired.
  • 5 + years’ experience with a proven track record in B2B client relationships
  • The ability to build and maintain an effective sales pipeline & adhere to sales methodology is essential
  • Proven commercial acumen with a track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Established experience in holding commercial meetings with all levels including C+ levels and translating their business needs into a complete solution
  • Successful track record in B2B face to face consultative selling, achieving and exceeding set targets
  • Experience in using Salesforce is preferable
  • High degree of competency in MS Office and computer literacy
