About the Business and the Role

Amazonia is a vibrant company with an enthusiastic young team, who specialise in Raw, Acai supplements and superfood smoothies which are both delicious and healthy. We import and manufacture our range for sale through health food stores, independent retail stores, cafes, juice bars and independent supermarkets and pharmacies around Australia and selected overseas markets. Amazonia are focused on making products which lead the food service industry through healthy and delicious menu options which are suitable for health conscious individuals.

The role of Export Development Manager reports directly to the business owners and managers, and is responsible for providing support and direction to the Amazonia Sales Team, to ensure that the business continues to grow and flourish. You will have min 3 years' experience in a Export Development Manager role within Health or Pharmacy Industry  around Europe. You must be able to travel internationally at least 4 times a year. 

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Solid demonstrated experience in International Sales Managers role within Health or Pharmacy with a focus on Europe. 

• Demonstrate leadership and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus

• Demonstrated successes in building strong external and internal relationships through effective communication, influencing and collaborative networking skills

• Results orientation, strong business acumen and analytical skills to enable you to effectively contribute to the creation and implementation of sales and marketing strategies

• Proven and significant Health Food and Supply Chain experience and a successful selling track record

• Taking responsibility and accountability to drive sales force targets and deliver on KPI's

• Contribution and development to the business planning process for the team and region

• Strategic analysis of territory/market/competitor information to identify strengths and weaknesses

• Implementation and maintenance of systems to monitor progress towards sales objectives

• A hands on and inspiring management style, with the ability to lead others

• Confident ability to implement operational, sales and promotional strategies

• Ability to work smart and manage conflicting priorities to meet tight deadlines without close supervision

• Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively across many accounts and have experience with negotiation, decision making and follow up in a timely manner

• An ability to propose, evaluate and analyze alternative solutions

• Build and manage existing business partnerships within the food service, independent grocery and health food channels across retail and distribution platforms

• Drive new business partnerships

• Negotiate equally rewarding trading terms

• Communicate sales and promotional strategies efficiently to on the Road Sales Team

• Ability to adapt and move with change

• Outstanding verbal and written communication

• Logical problem solving skills.

• Attention to detail

• Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
