Forget the real role title for a moment but it will be something like Bid Manager or Pre-sales Consultant. Or something.

It’s a role that requires that the successful applicant will need to wear many caps.
Maybe the title should be Captain of industry? We’re just joking.


We’re looking for someone with a combination of interesting talents.

Is this you?

(1) Able to analyse multiple data and conceptualise and explain a logical and deliverable response - for example a business defines a problem and requires a solution.

(2) Able to write or commission attention grabbing, persuasive, and memorable narratives and develop or modify existing diagrams and charts - for example develop a large RFP response.

(3) Able to hold a group of decision makers spellbound - for example a persuasive and memorable presentation.

(4) Able to build mutually advantageous commercial relationships - for example with prospective client and client decision-makers, and key personnel within our business.

(5) Able to lead a virtual team of disparate talents and egos under pressure - for example it’s Friday afternoon and the response deadline is Monday.


You are probably organised and yet something of a topsy-turvy creative. You respect well used language. You admire crisp and concise thinking.

You may have an MBA or similar qualification.

You probably have experience in a service or consulting industry.
