Our client is a well-recognised supplier of high quality, innovative and stylish kitchen, bathroom and laundry fixtures which are used throughout the residential building and home improvement sector. The company’s product range can be seen throughout major consumer electrical retailers, bathroom and plumbing retailers and hardware stores. The company possesses a high performance, team orientated culture and offer their staff ongoing training and career development opportunities. Currently, there is an exciting, newly created opportunity to this leading organization in the role of Key Account Manager.

The role

Reporting to the General Manager - Sales & Marketing, the position will focus on managing and growing sales and market share through a select group of key national accounts who have NSW head offices. The position will require building strong working relationships with a range of senior influencers where you will look to develop and execute joint business plans delivering shared valve. As a Key Account Manager, you will look to analyse and interpret data to determine market trends, develop sales and marketing strategies and provide insights to customers, while also working with the company’s field sales team to ensure agreed plans are executed.

Required Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar key account management role across consumer goods or building products;
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to use data to develop strategies and make decisions;
  • Professionally presented with excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills;
  • Well-developed written & verbal communication skills and strong presentation skills;
  • Dynamic, highly motivated and adaptable personality;
  • A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team or individually;
  • Sound computer skills including MS Office and CRM systems; and
  • Relevant degree qualifications would be an advantage.
