The Role:
We are looking for a driven and results-focused sales hunter with a proven knowledge of apparel, promotional products, print management and/or signage to help drive our expansion strategies. Reporting to the General Manager, you will help grow market share by targeting a broad range of corporate and government entities. Importantly, you will be selling solutions not just products.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will need to be able to:
- Identify target markets, decision-makers and prospects in order to develop solutions that meet their needs,
- Leverage your existing network,
- Meet and even exceed your monthly budget through strategic targeting of your leads and selling to new prospects in a consultative manner,
- Maintain the entire Sales Cycle from proactive lead generation and prospecting through to solution selling, negotiating and closing the deal,
- Develop proposals and pitches,
- Implement marketing initiatives to target markets.
The Requirements:
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and experienced Business Development Executive with the following attributes:
- Proven experience in managing complex sales using solution-based selling techniques,
- Good technical knowledge of all aspects of print and/or promotional products,
- Great oral and written communication skills,
- A true hunter with a passion for uncovering sale opportunities.
