About the Company 

Global Links Exhibitions is a global event organizer with a current portfolio of market leading events for major industries ranging from Home & lifestyle, machinery, global sourcing and organic & natural.

We are looking for an experienced and results driven Business Development Manager for Sponsorship Sales to join the team to be a part of the newest addition to the event portfolio, which is an industry leading B2C expo in Melbourne and Sydney.

The successful candidate will have

  • Minimum 2 years sponsorship sales experience with a heavy focus on new business development
  • Experience in sponsorship sales (preferred in Event, Corporation, Sport and Broker but not essential). 
  • Experience working with agencies is an advantage 
  • New business development within a short sales cycle
  • Ability to negotiate, influence and persuade others 
  • Consistent record of over achieving sponsorship targets
  • Experience working with both big and medium size brands

Responsibilities

  • Actively seek new sales opportunities at an
  • Identifying potential leads from our database  
  • Tailoring sponsorship opportunities to match brands business goals
  • Set up meetings with potential clients  
  • Prepare and deliver solutions-focused sales proposals;
  • Negotiate and close deals
