We are a local well established food manufacturer in Burleigh Heads and have an exciting opportunity for a new Sales Representative/Account Manager in our Food Service division.

We are looking for a pro-active and enthusiastic Sales Rep/Account Manager with a passion for food to join the team to work with our food service distributors and customers.  This is a full time, on road position and you will be responsible for managing existing Accounts, providing exceptional customer service and growing new and existing business. Other new business activities will include carrying out sales presentations, promotions and attending trade shows.

There may be occasional weekend work in order to travel to different states for trade shows and to liaise with distributors and their sales representatives.

 Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting and assisting in new business with our food service distributor partners.
  • Retain and develop existing and new accounts.
  • Maintain close contact with customers and potential customers.
  • Promoting existing and new products to our distributors and customers.
  • Sales Reporting.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Minimum 1 year previous experience in a sales/account management role.
  • Have previous experience working closely with food service distributors.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Display strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be highly organised, possess excellent time management skills with the ability to work against tight deadlines.
  • Show self-motivation and discipline to work remotely with the ability to work as a part of a supportive and growing team.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office, experience using an ERP system would be advantageous.
  • Be flexible and willing to travel as required.
