About the business
Index + Co is a boutique design company with offices in Sydney and London. This sales role is integral to the main Sydney team. We lead the market in designing, developing and delivering Australian made architectural products both here and globally.
We design, manufacture and promote our own architectural hardware and we do it well. History has shown us where improvement was needed and we have responded. We pride ourselves on prompt customer service, excellent product design and quality as well as commitment to our lead times.
Supplying to a large assortment of projects, ranging from single residential dwellings to multi residential apartment buildings, small office projects through to large commercial projects. We also provide architectural hardware to hospitality, healthcare, education and other such environments, which also provides us with the opportunity to further customise our products to suit specific project needs.
About the role
Reporting directly to our Company Manager you will be required to:
- Manage current projects
- Create new business opportunities and manage ongoing client relationships
- Brand representation and networking at design functions
- Meet with designers and architects to present products
- Utilise and grow existing database systems
- Achieve designated sales targets
- Weekly sales reports
- Sales forecasting
- Interstate travel
- Meeting KPI targets
- In house presentations to teams of designers and architects

Skills and experience
- Minimum two years sales experience, preferably in the design field
- Passion and enthusiasm for design
- Proven sales experience within the architectural product market
- Established connections within the design industry
- Self managed with a positive, fun and friendly attitude
- Drivers licence
- Computer literacy on MAC preferably
