Volvo Group Australia (VGA) has an exciting new opportunity for a dynamic Sales Cadet to join VCV Sydney Region and be part of the Volvo Trucks sales team. You will be the link between the sales department and the external sales field ensuring latest development are reflected in new truck order pipeline and new/used on wheels inventory status. Your key responsibilities will include receiving orders, subsequent change orders, transferring/setting of orders, order locations and reporting to Head Office and external sales field for both new and used trucks.

About the role:

  • Undertake Volvo Trucks sales administration tasks for new and used fleet
  • Prepare, maintain and produce a planned delivery schedule on orders per salesperson in an efficient manner
  • Assist the sales force in vehicle transport and relocation with demos, shows and customer deliveries 
  • Maintain NSW region prospecting and call schedule databases
  • Assist with accounts and end of month processes for the region
  • Process retail, sales and warranty forms into data for submission to ERG
  • Assist and represent the company and brand at local transport industry events
  • Assist the Volvo Trucks Sales Manager with administration as required.

About you:

  • Previous work experience secured in a heavy vehicle or heavy equipment dealership environment
  • Customer orientated mind set and a solid commercial acumen
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain a valid and clean NSW HR truck licence 
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills at all levels with stand-out interpersonals
  • Self-motivated and an ability to work autonomously
  • Sound knowledge in Microsoft Office and an ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Strong organisational, numeracy and attention to detail skills
  • Be a team player with a flexible approach to work commitments as some travel may be required across the region
