About The Role
Due to increased market share and business growth, this role of Sales & Marketing Manager has been created in order to lead in the National market place. You will contribute directly to the company’s success and will report to the General Manager. This is an exciting role which utilise your business acumen and proven record of achievements in sales & marketing. You will be in charge of driving sustainable sales growth in the country using your extensive market knowledge strategically to conquest market share and build confidence in your key accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Commercial Performance
- Uncover Customers, understand your market & their unique needs
- Align Sales & Marketing strategies with Group & Regional Offices to remain “On-Brand” whilst engaging a broad network of clients
- Build & Develop a High Performing Sales & Marketing Team
- Oversee & Implement pricing policy, discount approval authority & timely maintenance rates
- Work Directly with Regional Operations to formulate specific Sales & Marketing campaigns to address local requirementsYou should have sound knowledge in account management, marketing communication, advertising and promotion. Your solid background in sales & marketing will allow you to demonstrate your business acumen to allow you to build on existing key relationships and conquest new customer relationships.
- You will have 5+ years of Sales & Marketing experience in Logistics or Express Delivery, 3 years of which must be in a people leadership role as this will allow you to effectively engage your team. This company is well structured and will provide a strong support network, yet you must have a pro-active and hands on approach to building business as you will be working in a highly competitive environment. A tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing or related discipline is essential. However, it is more important that you demonstrate your positive can do attitude, passion, hunger, drive to succeed, clear and natural communication skills and the ability to lead and inspire your team.
