The Position

Reporting to the Country Manager, this new position will be focused on grow their market share in the food and beverage, packaging, transport & logistics and general industrial markets. The focus of the role will be to drive capital equipment product and solution sales within the within these industries, whilst servicing and increasing sales with their existing accounts. 


As part of the role you will be responsible for the following:

  • Regular sales calls to existing contacts and customers to ensure regular communication
  • Increasing market share through new business development
  • Developing sales strategies to open new market sectors
  • Follow up on warm leads generated by our sales and service teams
  • Overseeing tenders, quotes and pricing
  • Attend industry events to ensure our Client maintains a visible presence within the T&L industry


To be successful in this role you MUST have: 

  • Proven experience in a completely autonomous capital equipment sales position - KPI's will be confirmed upon commencement and with your consultation
  • Quantifiable track record of achieving and exceeding sales budgets 
  • Existing relationships in the food & beverage, industrial and transport and logistics industries
  • A structured approach to sales - call plans/cycles, CRM management, high activity levels
  • The ability to build rapport quickly with new and existing contacts
  • The ability to influence negotiations ensuring that both parties achieve positive outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills, in particular face to face meetings with C-Suite levels contacts


You will be rewarded with a base salary up to $90,000 + Superannuation and a generous incentive scheme based on performance - expected conservative OTE of $115,000 + Superannuation & Car Allowance. Ongoing training and career progression opportunities are also available.
