The primary focus of this role will be to identify prospects within the Catholic sector, undertake product demonstrations, follow our sales methodology and provide ongoing relationship management with our clients and prospects in Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia. You will provide a critical liaison between our sales team, consultants and implementation team to ensure excellence in service delivery.

As our Sales Manager your primary functions will be:

  • Managing sales process from leads to client, including undertaking a structured client engagement process.
  • Arranging and conducting online or face-to-face demonstrations of our products to prospective clients.
  • Overseeing the implementation of our sales process from lead qualification through to proposal stage and contract execution (no cold calling).
  • Ensuring that the content modules selected by the prospective client suits needs and price point.
  • Overseeing the project management of new client implementations.
  • Attending sales presentations (as a subject matter expert) as required.

To be considered for the role you will require:

  • At least 5 years' experience in a New Business Development role. Experience within the Catholic sector is highly desirable.
  • Ability to deal with people at all levels of an organisation from the board down.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • You will be highly organised and enjoy the challenges of working within a rapid growth environment.
  • Because technology lies at the heart of our service delivery you will need to be comfortable using a range of software programs.
  • Familiarity with agile project management methodologies such as SCRUM would be an advantage.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and a willingness to take initiative and ownership of any task allocated.
  • The ability to complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • An ability to learn and adapt quickly to a changing environment.
  • The ability to frequently travel interstate.
