Our Position:  Based in Lidcombe, NSW and reporting to the Business Manager Woolworths, this challenging role is primarily responsible for the execution of our sales plan, with emphasis on the effective utilisation of trade spend and for building strong, sustainable customer relationships.

This position will ideally suit an expert relationship manager with a passion for product innovation and category development.  Recognising the vital role that partnerships play in delivering strong commercial outcomes, you will:

  • Work collaboratively with a high performing management team to set sales and profit growth targets and achieve them;
  • Take key customers on the ‘seafood journey’ through the Tassal brand;
  • Demonstrate industry and category leadership (salmon & seafood), sharing knowledge and educating customers on the benefits of sustainable salmon farming;
  • Maximise promotional opportunities to deliver customer growth and achieve or exceed profit targets and agreements;
  • Drive new product concepts and launches; and
  • Prepare forecasts for new and existing products.

 

You:  Highly motivated and driven to succeed, you possess exceptional communication and negotiation skills, enabling you to deliver consistently to customer expectations.  In addition, you possess:

  • Well-developed analytical skills and commercial acumen;
  • Demonstrated experience within the retail grocery/FMCG sector;
  • A proven ability to build effective, sustainable relationships with customers and internal stakeholders;
  • Excellent presentation skills and an inherent high degree of professionalism;
  • Unwavering resilience and confidence;
  • Competence in the use of information communication technology;
  • The capacity to lead and influence team members and other key business stakeholders;
  • The ability to use data to drive positive revenue and margin outcomes.
  • Tertiary qualifications (preferred) and/or 5 years' experience in the management of direct sales and marketing in a related field.
