We are seeking an enthusiastic warehouse all-rounder who has exceptional customer service skills. This is your opportunity to work for an Australian owned company with owners who really care about their staff. You will work as part of a high performing and friendly team and you will be rewarded for your efforts. Ideally you will come from a warehouse/stores background and have the flexibility to quickly learn new skills. It is essential that you understand the needs of tradespeople (your customers) and have the ability to deal with a range of personalities. This company will help the right person to grow and develop their career.
Responsibilities:
- Customer service/counter sales
- Forklift licence (not essential but highly regarded)
- Completing data entry of orders
- Participating in team meetings
- Assisting with picking and packing
- Assisting with dispatch
- Using the in house computer system for ordering and stock tracking
Skills and experience required:
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience working with hardware supplies
- The ability to develop strong relationships with your customers
- Must be proactive problem solver and think on your feet - this is a fast pace role
- Keen eye for detail
- Strong time management skills
- It will be highly regarded if you have a Trade Counter/Warehousing background
