Sales Consultant

Bring your expertise, ambition and aspirations to be a Number 1 Sales Consultant to this rapidly growing Company located in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. Join an enthusiastic team environment in a brand new Office / Warehouse. This well-established company provides storage systems, mobile shelving, display shelving, furniture solutions etc. for several different industries nationally such as education, libraries, businesses, councils through to large scale healthcare storage solutions for leading hospitals.

The role is a hands-on office based role where you will be working with a team of 7 to 8 staff in the Sales team including internal and external sales staff. Any experience working in the field of Office / Storage Furniture and Fitout or working in Hospitals / Medical Clinics, or at a University or TAFE would be an advantage.

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting Intraspace with a new Sales and Marketing drive building on a business which has solid growth and is looking to grow to the next level.
  • Face-to-face calling  Metro Melbourne and Interstate
  • Providing leads to Estimating department.
  • Keep CRM up to date with sales activity.
  • Ensure your enquiries/quotes are reacted to promptly.

 

Experience:

  • Industry experience is not an essential requirement for this role, however, face to face sales experience would be an added advantage.
  • Ability to take responsibility and communicate / report back in writing or by email.
  • An essential requirement is having the ability to take responsibility and communicate / report back to the MD in writing or by email.
  • Your communication will make you stand out.
  • You will have KPI’s to meet and you will be expected to grow the dollar value in business.

The Person:

What we offer:

  • Hours: Normal hours are 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday
  • Salary range: This will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Car allowance: Vehicle will be provided or Vehicle allowance
