Auslec is a leading distributor of electrical, industrial and safety products with significant operations nationally that distributes recognised brands to the residential, industrial, commercial and utilities markets. 

An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated, sales focused Account Manager to join the team at our Auslec Karratha branch. 

The successful candidate will have: 
  • Proven sales experience with a focus on results
  • Must be able to present our value proposition in a professional manner
  • Account portfolio, territory management and growth
  • Increasing sales activities across multiple product ranges
  • Initiative, enthusiasm and a great attitude
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
In this diverse role, your responsibilities will include, yet are not limited to:
  • Identifying opportunities and following up on products and services for key account customers and satisfying their needs
  • Coordinating projects and roll-outs including project estimating and order management
  • Providing outstanding service and maximising product range and business growth
  • Maintain existing account relationships and developing new opportunities 
  • Reviewing, reporting and presenting account sales and service outcomes to management in line with agreed targets and requirements
  • General administration, customer support and housekeeping 
The successful candidate will be results-driven and commercially focused, and demonstrate the natural ability to create new business opportunities and manage key accounts. Your resume will outline a strong, stable work history in staff supervision within wholesale, franchise or retail trade sales operations. In order to excel in the role, you will draw on superior communication skills and a high level of drive and enthusiasm. Product and industry knowledge in the Electrical, Industrial or Safety markets is desirable.
