An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dedicated Sales Executive – Distributor / End User to join our Queensland Team. Reporting to the State Sales Manager - QLD, you will be responsible for generating leads, growing new business revenue and utilising existing distributor relationships for the QLD market.

About the role

  • Developing long term, sustainable trading relationships with identified end user accounts;
  • Expanding current and prospect database within a specified business sectors to generate effective leads & exceed sales targets;
  • Develop a sales contact plan direct marketing and attending industry events;
  • Sales presentations at trade shows and product demonstrations;
  • Implementing marketing and promotional strategies;
  • Respond to incoming Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs) in a professional and creative manner;
  • Understand the potential customers’ needs and work with the key decision makers to develop a tailored menu solution to generate sales; and
  • Work closely with key internal departments to identify appropriate go to market strategies and messaging for specific business sectors.

Qualification, skills and experience

  • Strong experience dealing with multiple levels of ‘End User’ businesses; 
  • Experience in the promotion and sales Frozen Value Added Food Products in an FMCG organisation;
  • A proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets;
  • Sound knowledge of selling and negotiation techniques; and
  • Highly developed relationship management and analytical skills.
