Multimedia Technology is an Australian owned national distributor who have been servicing the IT and AV channels for over 25 years. Established in 1990, we supply resellers with products from many leading brands including: Sony, Panasonic, D-Link, BenQ, Fujitsu, Cisco, NEC, Philips and Samsung.
The MMT Sydney Office is currently seeking an energetic and motivated AV sales person to join our Sydney Team. Utilising your previous sales experience, you will be responsible for developing ongoing business with our existing resellers and pro-actively identifying new business opportunities.
You will need to possess a strong desire to meet and exceed our customer's expectations, whilst maintaining an on-going focus on the key MMT business objectives.
The key responsibilities of the role are:
• Developing ongoing business from existing resellers and assisting with their sales related enquiries
• Proactively calling resellers and identifying possible new business opportunities.
• Achieving and exceeding Sales Revenue and Gross Profit targets.
• Actively promoting the full range of MMT products and solutions to relevant resellers
• Face to face visits with resellers
The successful applicant would ideally have:
• A background in IT and / or AV sales
• Experience in managing and developing relationships with vendors
• A high level of energy and a desire to be successful is sales
• Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• The ability to constructively work within a team environment
• Sound problem solving and negotiation skills
The successful candidate will receive an industry related base salary and commission scheme.
MMT has a modern office located at Lane Cove and on-site parking is provided. Full product and solution training will be provided to the successful applicant.
