We are looking to appoint an education sales consultant based in our Townsville office to work with a dynamic and energetic national team interested in innovative technologies in learning design. The position requires an enthusiastic and creative professional to work with our team; the ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively to support ELB Education services. You will be trained on our technologies and how they support future focused learning.

The Role:

You will be required to:

  • Consult with schools about their Education Technology Roadmap and offer solutions that are uniquely tailored to each school's needs
  • Arrange and provide demonstrations that showcase how ELB Education solutions can be integrated into existing teaching practices.
  • Collaborate across the business and communicate with colleagues effectively
  • Be familiar with administrative systems and be able to input data regularly to enable results.
  • Consistently exceed quarterly sales targets by actively engaging ELB resources as necessary to continually move new business through the sales cycle and successfully close sales opportunities.

To succeed in this role you will be passionate about how technology solutions enhance the learning of teachers and students and have a willingness to sell Education Technology solutions.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing a knowledge and understanding of our technologies within all levels of the Education market (training provided).
  • Ensuring progressive usage of our technologies through credible relationship management.
  • Providing a consultative and supportive approach in educating how technology can enhance learning opportunities.

Skills & Experience:

You will:

  • Be passionate about how technology can transform teaching and learning
  • Be a confident user of ICT, with a clear understanding of how new innovative Education Technologies can be used to create, communicate and collaborate in the learning spaces
  • Be a highly skilled communicator with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Have the skills and the capacity to meet sales targets
  • Have a demonstrated capacity to develop relationships with prospective customers
  • Have the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
