The Opportunity
A great opportunity has become available for a dedicated, driven and energetic sales orientated person in Dandenong as a Sales Representative (CSSR). Reporting to the Regional Parts Manager, the role will drive positive sales growth by delivering the highest possible level of customer service.

Is a talented individual and strategic thinker; a solution orientated sales person with excellent people and problem solving skills. You will thrive on the challenge of increasing sales and be a true hunter & gatherer of opportunities. You will seek to understand your customers' needs and work closely with the Customer Support Sales Manager to develop sound sales strategies to maximise sales results. The successful individual for this position will be conversant in Komatsu's range of aftermarket products and services and will work enthusiastically to actively build customer relationships through the principles and standards of our Customer Support Charter. A key component of this role will be to maximise investment in customer visits and delivering value to the customers' business, whilst also gathering and reporting key information to support a proactive team approach to sales growth. Additionally this role is responsible for proactively identifying opportunities, conducting professional and effective meetings with customers, and selling appropriate solutions from the full range of Komatsu products and services.

The knowledge, skills and abilities required
  • Experience in Sales, as a Parts Interpreter or other comparable position
  • Drive and persistence (A sales hunter) and demonstrate resilience through the sales process
  • Heavy vehicle / earth moving equipment parts experience is essential
  • Strong problem solving aptitude, with the ability to demonstrate this from actual experiences
  • Dynamic strategic selling skills: strong knowledge & experience in identifying sales opportunities by listening to the voice of the customer and linking the available product offerings to match the customer's needs
  • A high level of time management skill; covering a larger territory / customer base
  • A high degree of computer literacy, as well as presentation skills
  • Current driver's licence (as this role will require regular travel)
