Great opportunity to join a well-established, national, high profile Company in the building and construction industry. Our Client is a leader in providing innovative building solutions to their customer base in the commercial, industrial and residential sectors. The Company manufacture, distribute and install a comprehensive range of building products and systems, as well as being able to offer design and construction services across Australia; a true solutions provider of high performance building systems!
Based in Sydney NSW, your role will be to focus on actively promoting and further educating the marketplace in NSW / ACT as it relates to the companies building products / systems on offer in the project market place. Your focus is to ultimately gain specification, and then pass across the specification to the team to ensure product purchase and project follow through. Thus, you will be involved in proactively targeting and building business relationships with Architects and Designers, Builders, Developers, Asset Owners etc, presenting and gaining specification - and a larger share of business in this market because of your ability to understand and relate back to your customer the technical value add or benefit your Company offers. Whilst you will need to be proactive and very much “out front” leveraging opportunities in the project space (you will receive internal support and leads through an integrated CRM and project tracking system) you will be well supported by a team of professionals performing a similar role in other states as well as your team members in the NSW / ACT sales team and wider business.
You will have a number of years success in being a proven and professional Architectural Sales / Project Sales Representative within the building and construction industry preferably with external or structural based products. You will have demonstrated your capability in understanding construction processes and being able to apply this understanding in selling / gaining specification of building products and systems. Further, you will be: extremely proactive and energetic, able to communicate easily at all levels, well organised, disciplined yet flexible in how you operate, IT literate, a team player sharing leads and opportunities to ultimately grow the business in the Region.
