RTRFM is an independent community radio station servicing the Perth metropolitan area. The company has a strong focus on local arts and music and offers an alternative to mainstream media organizations. We have 50 different programs focusing on different issues and music styles.
We are seeking a Development Manager to expand our Sponsorship client base. The successful applicant will be responsible for pursuing and managing relationships with new sponsors for the station, meeting set sponsorship targets, scripting and scheduling sponsorship announcements and sourcing prizes for RTRFM promotions.
The position is a full-time position.
Knowledge of the local arts, culture and government sectors are essential, as is experience in other sales or marketing roles. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are essential.

Essential
- Experience in other sales-orientated role
- Excellent organisation skills
- Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in cold calling clients
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work in a team environment
Preferable - Extensive knowledge of community radio, and in particular RTRFM
- Extensive knowledge of the local arts, culture and government business sector
- Experience in other roles in the media
- Ability to start immediately
