Client Overview
Our client is an Australian founded business with over 10 years experience building trust behind their brand within the IT solutions, software and telecommunications space. Their focus around innovation and customer centricity has allowed them to dominate their field and carve out new territory. Due to recent growth within their newest division, IT and managed services, they are looking for an experienced sales professional with the drive and motivation to be an integral part of its continued success.
Position Overview
This is a highly autonomous role. You will formulate and execute a sales strategy within your region, drive revenue growth by increasing demand in the current customer base, and develop new customers in the SME sector. You will have exceptional customer management experience at the C-level and will partner closely with the entire account and sales team to ensure customer relationship and alignment. Growth of your overall accounts will be key to your success.
Your Background
The successful candidate will be a highly driven, entrepreneurial sales person with experience sourcing leads and generating revenue, ideally within a IT software/Managed Services environment.
In addition, the successful candidates will need to demonstrate a track record of success in:
Business Development, with a network of clients in the SME sector;
Proven ability in managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment in the relevant vertical;
Ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment;
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills;
Highly self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision; and
Proven consultative sales solution skills, including the ability to articulate a clear, concise return on investment value statement.
