Ingenia Communities is a leading Australian property group that owns, operates and develops a growing portfolio of lifestyle communities and tourist parks across key urban and coastal markets. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to grow the Ingenia Holidays portfolio.

 

About the Role:

Reporting to the Revenue and Integration Manager as part of the Marketing team, you will own the delivery of new market revenue for Ingenia’s holiday parks. You will be responsible for managing the business development process in order to drive new lead generation so we are looking for a passionate and highly motivated individual. You'll be stepping into a fast paced environment, be challenged daily and will have the opportunity to make a real difference to the future of Ingenia.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing new market strategies and plans
  • Prospecting of new business in key markets
  • Managing and retaining relationships with new and existing clients
  • Developing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
  • Negotiating with stakeholders internally and externally to deliver business outcomes
  • Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
  • Following industry trends locally and internationally
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts for management approval
  • Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements

 

About You:

  • Solid experience in a Business Development Manager role, within tourism, events or similar
  • Experience in lead generation and prospect management
  • Proven ability to negotiate terms and overcome hurdles
  • You will thrive on developing strong working relationships both internally and externally
  • High level of commercial acumen
  • Proactive with a positive attitude, patient and flexible in your work approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to meet deadlines in time pressured situations
