The Company
Our client is one of the top suppliers nationally and is steadily becoming the market leader of its construction and infrastructure product into the trade, residential and commercial construction, infrastructure and alterations and additions market in the State. As a manufacturer and supplier of products with a numerous distribution centers in Queensland and due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Major Account Manager to service the Brisbane Central territory.
The Opportunity
Based in Brisbane Central and working closely with the Brisbane Sales and Development Managers you will report directly to the State Sales Manager in South East Queensland. In your role you will be accountable for managing and developing key accounts and new business in the top and mid tier related client space. This specialist product line will see you managing multiple long term, multi million dollar projects. This is not a one off product sale, this is a complete turn key solution sale which will incorporate tenders, estimating drafting, engineering and manufacturing all of which are based in Brisbane to support the Brisbane Central Major Account Manager.
About You
You must have current high level sales experience working within a technical and or construction product selling into the high rise, commercial, industrial and infrastructure space. We will not accept candidates outside this sector. You will be a long term solution focused sales person and have proven experience in acquiring new business as well as account managing and looking after long term clients in your territory. This is a 70/30 BDM/AM role. You will be given a medium sized client base but you will have to grow and develop it to reach your annual stretch budget. Preference will be given to candidates who have current contacts in the construction space in the Brisbane Central area.

A lucrative salary package is on offer to attract the best possible candidates and is negotiable depending on experience it will include a fully maintained company vehicle and or a car allowance a performance bonus paid annually of a minimum of 25K PA.
