Our client is an iconic, market leader who possesses a long and proud history supplying decorative and functional fittings and fixtures used throughout the residential and commercial construction sector. Currently there is an exciting opportunity to join this well recognized organisation as a Key Account / Business Development Manager.

The Role

Reporting to the East Coast Sales Manager, the role is responsible for targeting multi-level residential and aged care projects throughout Sydney. The position will require building and managing relationships with tier one and two developers and design and construct builders in order to understanding of their evolving needs and secure supply contracts for projects. The position will also require educating and supporting customers on the company’s product offering, developing and specifying competitive packages for projects, negotiating pricing and working closely with internal departments to ensure the smooth coordination of scheduling of product deliveries.

About You

  • 5 + years’ experience in a similar fast paced sales role within the commercial construction sector;
  • Demonstrated experience securing and delivering projects in the multi-level residential & aged care sector;
  • Well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills;
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills;
  • Conscientious and resilient personality with a sense of humour;
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen;
  • Sound computer skills (MS Excel + CRM’s); and
  • Existing relationships with multi-level residential developers and builders in NSW would be an advantage.
