Purpose of the role:
To develop business, manage and grow customer relationships within the Victorian horticultural industry.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the National & Victorian Sales Manager
- As a field representative, your first priority will be to visit and service our client's Victorian customers, as directed
- Increasing the profitability of existing products by working to solve customer issues and developing new opportunities for the range throughout the company
- Discuss the benefits of the products with customers and strengthen results for the customers
- Develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects
- Presentation to customers
- Account management of the existing customer base
- Working in collaboration with customers and other staff members
- Attend industry/networking events
- Some interstate travel from time to time, as required
Skills & Experience:
- Previous agronomy or similar industry experience highly regarded
- Proven experience in new business development
- Proven experience in growing existing business
- You must display a unique blend as a lateral thinker and problem solver
- Excellent account management skills
- Ability to meet sales targets and action plans
- Ability to provide a reliable and delightful experience at all times for customers
- Ability to find innovative solutions for the broader market
- Technical savvy a must
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
