Purpose of the role:

To develop business, manage and grow customer relationships within the Victorian horticultural industry.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the National & Victorian Sales Manager
  • As a field representative, your first priority will be to visit and service our client's Victorian customers, as directed
  • Increasing the profitability of existing products by working to solve customer issues and developing new opportunities for the range throughout the company
  • Discuss the benefits of the products with customers and strengthen results for the customers
  • Develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects
  • Presentation to customers
  • Account management of the existing customer base
  • Working in collaboration with customers and other staff members
  • Attend industry/networking events
  • Some interstate travel from time to time, as required

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous agronomy or similar industry experience highly regarded
  • Proven experience in new business development
  • Proven experience in growing existing business
  • You must display a unique blend as a lateral thinker and problem solver
  • Excellent account management skills
  • Ability to meet sales targets and action plans
  • Ability to provide a reliable and delightful experience at all times for customers
  • Ability to find innovative solutions for the broader market
  • Technical savvy a must
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
