Looking for an experience Business Development Manager with a hardware sales background. Work for one of the best companies in Melbourne. 
Base Salary is $110,000-$140,000 + phone, car allowance, lap top, large commission structure uncapped. Average sales OTE $275,000-$300,000. 

Purpose of Role: To generate new business opportunities, contribute to the growth of an existing customer portfolio, through understanding customer needs and facilitating the delivery of appropriate Hardware Maintenance solutions.

About You:
- Experience and knowledge of the IT Industry;
- Abreast of new market trends;
- Strategic/consultative sales skills and experience, with a track record in new business sales
- Strong relationship building skills and confidence in dealing with C-level managers;
- Previous experience utilising and maintaining CRM’s
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database management
- Commercially astute
- Highly resilient, perseverant, not afraid of cold calling
- Strong influencing skills over a wide spectrum of management and technical contacts;
- Highly self-motivated, an overachiever
- Ability to effectively deal within high pressure environments
- Ability to work both independently as well as in a team oriented environment
- Problem solving capability
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills

About the Role:

-Identify potential Hardware Maintenance opportunities by prospecting and cold calling
-Facilitate internal resources to deliver the best possible solution to prospects and
customers, including quality proposals, appropriate pricing and presenting customer
solutions in accordance with the defined sales process
-Stay current in your knowledge of emerging technology
-Increase brand awareness in the marketplace thought networking 
-Grow a customer portfolio of assigned customers
-Implement strategic account plans for all customers detailing all commercial aspects of the customer’s business and the strategy to protect and grow the account
-Uncover and close opportunities to extend new services to customers
-Maintain all documentation relating to prospective customers, including information
updates in Salesforce to record all sales activities and communication
- Complete and record sales activity reports on a monthly basis
- Manage all operational aspects of existing accounts, (e.g. Billing, reporting, contract
management, SLA management, debtors etc.) 
- Lead all bids/major opportunities within the portfolio. Own and control the bid process from qualification to execution of contract.
