This organisation has an enviable reputation and is very well respected within the architecture and construction community.  Your sales efforts are backed by excellent marketing (brochures, technical literature, websites) and the benefit of being part of a large corporate, (but a small division, with their own culture).  The company manufactures and imports products that are high quality, aesthetically pleasing and technically superior.

 

Your responsibilities 

  • Building long term business relationships with leading architects, specifiers and construction organisations across the east coast
  • Generating specifications and follow this process closely till a firm order is received with the rest of the sales team around the country
  • Ac as the prime lead generator and face of the business to architects, specifiers and engineers
  • Managing and consulting with regard to design sensitivity and technical capabilities
  • Utilise your existing network of contacts, along with the database already available within the business
  • Uncovering every possible business opportunities and working closely with clients and your internal teams to manage this process. 
  • Act as the go to person for technical support within the sales team, when they uncover leads for your product range you are championing. 

 

You are

  • Able to demonstrate an ability to obtain specifications for major projects via consultative selling and the ability to network extensively in order to uncover opportunities ahead of the competition.
  • You will have strong PC skills and be comfortable keeping a CRM database up to date.
  • A friendly professional attitude is displayed by all people in the organisation and it is expected that you will fit this type of culture. 
  • Your background may come from acoustics, facades, insulation, roofing, or other technical specified products.
