Fortunately for you, Helloworld Business Travel is looking for a national corporate Corporate Business Manager as part of our team to work with Australia’s top corporate travel agents.
By acting as a small business mentor for our agents, the ideal candidate will focus on increasing sales, performance and profitability. Your role is to optimise the success of our agents’ individual businesses and help us drive the growth and future of our network. The Corporate Business Manager will be a results driven individual who is energetic and able to communicate effectively at all levels.

Your Responsibilities include:
- Working with our agents to understand and develop existing and new business opportunities;
- Maintaining your own portfolio of agents by providing regular support on all necessary areas;
- Providing agents (Members) with up to date information on preferred suppliers, marketing strategies and industry trends;
- Communicating and implementing key business/agent initiatives;
- Developing a detailed understanding of our agents product needs and levels of preferred product support;
- Collaboratively building co-operative and strategic business plans with Members;
- Providing support and advice about best practice in staff management and training;
- Ensuring alignment to company policy, procedures, performance standards and best practices;
- Providing owner and manager training in areas such as core business skills, planning, staff management and sales as appropriate;
- Support and participation in conferences, forums & meetings.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have an in-depth understanding of the corporate travel market
- Be a highly motivated self-starter who is a strategic thinker and has the ability to work autonomously
- Be results driven and can achieve key strategic objectives based on individual key performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Maintain close working relationships with all staff, agents and external stakeholders/partners
- Have excellent administrative and priority management skills
- Possess strong negotiation skills in order to work with Members through contracting, re-contracting, recruitment and retention
- Have exceptional organizational ability and strongly developed analytical skills
- Be well networked and well respected within the Travel Industry
- Be able to demonstrate flexibility and the ability to travel frequently
- Have a sound knowledge of the corporate sector and airlines
- Be a leader and mentor
- Be able to train and present
- Have empathy and understanding for the stresses and challenges that come with running a small business
