THE ROLE - Sales Consultant - BDM
As a BDM you will report directly to the Sales Manager based in Newcastle. You be responsible for generating new business, prospecting, canvassing and selling their state of the art solutions and services.
Supported by a technical pre-sales consultant, you will be allocated a designated territory (HUNTER) for your sales efforts to perform & succeed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the entire sales cycle from initial qualification to deal close.
- Prospect, identify and qualify new business opportunities.
- Understand and convey information regarding highly technical cutting edge products and services
- Conduct product demonstrations to potential clients.
- Create & present proposals
- Develop and maintain long lasting relationships within the Hunter Region accross all business.
- Monthly targets will be in place.
IDEAL REQUIREMENTS
- A Minimum of 2 years of sales experience.
- Proven closing skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Desire to pursue a solid sales career within technology.
- Exceptional ability to close sales with new and existing clients & demonstrate performance
- Ability to overcome objections / think quickly on their feet
SALARY ON OFFER
$50k to $55k + Super + uncapped comms
Base is negotiable & dependant on experience
