Growth HVAC contractor
Strategic planning, marketing and sales
Suit a technician, account or project manager with broader ambition
Our client is a prominent, commercial HVAC installer and service maintenance contractor in QLD. Buoyed by sustained growth, its future planning includes interstate representation. A new opportunity has been identified for a marketing/sales and technical savvy professional who enjoys achieving growth through leveraging off a range of relationships e.g. suppliers, industry networks, prospective customer touchpoints. Initiative and drive are critical, as this role’s input is integral to the Directors’ strategy framework.
Reporting to the Managing Director, your key challenges include evaluating new service and market opportunities, in particular improving market share in new, non-traditional sectors. You will apply your understanding of the commercial building and facilities management sectors, in order to advise on trends which ultimately impact on maintenance service/install capacity and margin strategy. Your communication and cooperative skills set you apart; enabling you to achieve buy-in from colleagues across the business.
You must possess a track-record in effective relationship management; ideally in context of acquiring new business, involving HVAC+R systems/components or comparable building technologies. A Certificate III Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Restricted Electrical Licence or engineering qualification is required. Complementary training/study in business or project management would be well-regarded.
