We have an exciting and rare opportunity for a Field Sales Representative who loves chasing new business but also servicing an existing client base.

This newly created role on the Gold Coast is ideal for a successful Sales person who is looking for their next challenge! Someone who knows how to prospect for business in a competitive market.

Konnect Fastening Systems is a division of the publicly listed company, Coventry Group Ltd, a market leader in the fastener supply industry, with a proud history of servicing the mining, construction and manufacturing industries across Australia and New Zealand.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a natural relationship builder who genuinely enjoys business to business sales and is looking for a career not just a job.

You will be joining a well established branch and a Manager who will help set you up for success.

This position would be perfect for a passionate, enthusiastic sales person with strong customer service ethics, communication and sales skills who is looking for a career in the fastener industry.

A typical day looks a bit like this:

• Making contact with existing customers
• Visiting customers face to face
• Prospecting for new business
• Working towards a sales budget and targets
• Delivering the highest standard of customer service

About You
We are looking for someone who knows how to provide the right solution to a customer, you know how to identify a sales lead, you love cold calling and you have a history of sales success stories!

To succeed in this role, you must be the best at what you do:

• Building relationships comes natural to you
• You pride yourself on your communication skills
• You love working towards targets & KPIs and a budget
• Your customer service skills are second to none
• You are looking for a career not just a job
• You are computer & system savvy (Oracle, Excel)
• Knowledge of industrial products (desirable)
