Area Sales Representative - QLD
Are you someone who loves being knee deep in local area marketing to build relationships that result in sales? We are looking for a results-driven sales professional to be a passionate ambassador for the Looksmart brand, and work strategically with our franchisees and the business to build the customer base and drive sales.
Looksmart Alterations is an international franchise operation with around 120 stores across Australia and New Zealand, and leads the market in clothing alterations and making fashion fit people. Key responsibilities include:
- Bringing new customers into stores
- Developing B2B and B2C relationships
- Developing and managing sales pipeline from leads to conversion
- Making sure customers come back again
- Increasing average spend
- Ensuring franchisees and their staff are skilled in sales and providing value
- Championing happiness and growth for Looksmart stakeholders across QLD
Activities include:
- Onsite visits and communications with around 13 Looksmart stores across QLD
- Design, implementation and evaluation of marketing activity in stores, shopping centres and local communities
- Recruitment of retail and corporate customers, including schools and clubs
- Strategic management of database targeting active, at risk and lost customers
- Coaching and training of instore customer service personnel in sales techniques.
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in local area marketing / regional sales roles targeting retail, community and corporate customers
- Qualification in marketing, business or similar
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work strategically and collaboratively with franchisees and business clients
- Coaching skills
- Subtle yet assertive selling skills
- An enthusiastic, can do attitude
- Alignment with our core values
- Experience in the fashion industry also considered favourably.
This is a field role that reports to the Marketing Manager and Founder and is supported by the marketing team. Total Package of $82,000 (plus bonuses). Package includes super and car allowance for use of your vehicle. A phone and Surface Pro Tablet will also be provided.
