Company
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading rental business with operations in every major trading hub around the country. My client is a multi-divisional rental equipment provider supplying rental agreements direct to trade customers in the construction and industrial sectors.
Their EWP or Access division for this branch has a brand new fleet along with state of the art warehousing and a tier 1 customer list. Backed by years of expert industry experience, they are now seeking a tried and test BDM to join the team and join in on the success.
Role
The role is for a true form BDM to join the team and hunt for new business to align the company with. With a strong focus on the Melbourne market, your goal will be to strategically target new business opportunities in the industrial, council and construction sectors whilst also assisting the maintaining and nurturing of existing accounts.
As a natural sales person, you're quick to establish rapport and apply your industry knowledge and/or network of contacts to build a pipeline of sales. You have a sense of urgency, are highly motivated and results focused.
You will be working closely with the branch manager and you will be mentored and supported across all your deals. This relationship will be key to your success and cement your place within this business.
You must demonstrate an eagerness to win deals and open doors previously closed to the business. The bulk of the pay is in commission. However, the base salary is extremely competitive. The mentality within the team is to win by supporting each other to get deals over the line. You will earn commissions on every dollar you bring across.
Requirements
To be successful in this position you will have:
- Access/EWP equipment rental background of at least 5+ years
- The ability to convert leads to sales
- A trade background, preferred but not essential
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Computer skills, CRM, word and excel
- Enjoy working in a team environment
- Willingness to learn
- The ability to travel
- Hands on approach
Salary
Base: $85,000 - $95,000
Uncapped commission
Full Maintained Company Vehicle
